Knisco Inclusive Access - Understanding Accessibility Workshop for WIDAC

Vanessa Fahey, Director and Access Consultant for Knisco Inclusive Access presented as part of a WIDAC (Women in Design and Construction) educational workshop. As part of WIDAC's 'Upskilling Series'.

Vanessa presented a short educational course on how to examine the relevant codes and legislative obligations for your projects and how to apply them with a deep understanding and empathy for the end user.

As the saying goes 'Knowledge is Power', we were excited to offer knowledge on this important topic at this interactive event.

Vanessa's goal is to remove barriers within the built environment for people with a disability, she believes all people should be treated with dignity and have equitable access within the built environment to participate independently at home and within the community.
